CS Survey Responses:

Every week Community Safety requests survey responses from those who've had interactions with a member of the Community Safety team. These responses are always collected anonymously with the option for the responder to leave contact information if they would like for a member of Community Safety management to contact them, and are used internally for departmental performance tracking. Community Safety has opted to publish these survey results for transparency and community accountability. *Names and pronouns mentioned in survey responses will be redacted to protect the privacy of individuals.

In addition to surveys sent directly to those who have interacted with Community Safety, the ºìÌÒÊÓƵ community is always encouraged to independently complete the survey regarding Community Safety's performance.

Other Complaints or Comments (please specify) Passing interaction Below expectations

A CSO's behavior concerned a community member, in part because the CSO did not acknowledge or greet the person after eye contact and passing nearby. The community member noted the position of power CSOs are seen to hold and was disappointed by the interaction.

*This response had to be more heavily edited to protect the identity of the CSO.

Unlock Below expectations Rude, late, and unhelpful.

Unlock Met expectations It makes me feel much safer as a member of this student body community that the CSOs don’t come or look into your room when they help us with unlocks. It also makes CSOs feel more like part of our community than a force that is applied on to our community, which I think is great!
