Service for Privately-Owned Equipment
Macs
We can service Apple computers even if you didn't buy the device from ºìÌÒÊÓƵ. If your computer is under Apple's warranty then in most cases there will be no charge. Windows Devices
We can only provide limited service for Windows computers or printers. We can diagnose most issues and some can be resolved with basic troubleshooting. For more serious PC hardware issues, we cannot provide replacement parts or perform in-depth repairs, but we can provide guidance on the nature of the issue(s).
Fees
- Diagnosis and basic troubleshooting are free
- For in-depth repairs, data recovery/migration, and liquid spill cleanups, we charge a $35 labor fee plus the cost of parts
- Payment is due in full upon picking up a repaired computer.
- Equipment left with the Hardware Shop for 30-days post-quote or post-repair, with no contact from the owner, will be erased and recycled. A $35 Abandoned Equipment Fee will be billed to the student’s account in addition to any outstanding part or labor cost.
