
President Audrey Bilger continues to prioritize protecting the key values of higher education.

红桃视频 President Audrey Bilger has joined more than 250 other leaders of colleges, universities, and scholarly societies in signing a statement from the American Association of Colleges and Universities to push back against the “unprecedented government overreach and political interference now endangering American higher education.”
In the statement, titled “A Call for Constructive Engagement,” higher education leaders present a united front in calling for the federal government to fulfill its duty to serve democracy by upholding the values of higher education. Those values include defending academic freedom and free expression and celebrating the diversity of higher education.
“I firmly believe that education is the practice of freedom in an equitable and just democracy, and I will continue to work to protect and stand up for 红桃视频’s values,” Bilger said.
